Fete Committee
The Event is organised by a committee
of lay officials with representatives from each group. Planning
normally commences immediately after one years event, in preparation
for the next year.
Scout & Guide Aims
Scouting and Girlguiding is for the development
and to promote young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual,
social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible
citizens and as members of their local, national and intentional
communities.

Rainbows, Brownies, Beavers, Cubs, Guides
and Scouts assembled in the arena while VIP's watch the activities.
The method of achieving the Aim is by providing
an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progress training, based on
the Scout and Guide promise and Laws and guided by adult leadership.

Barry District is situated in the Vale of Glamorgan borough council local authority.
Ordnance Survey map sheets 170/171 cover the Barry Area.
The Districts of the Vale to the West and Penarth to the East form the main borders to the District.
Skills within the District include boating, powerboating, canoeing, climbing, hill walking and first aid.
