 Our local Scout &
Guide Groups are totally self-financing organisations with no government
financial support. It costs over £120,000 per annum to run
these local Scout and Girl Guide Groups, all of which has to be
raised by our supporters, and the Barry Scout & Guide Annual
Fete is an important means part of this ongoing task.
It costs almost £10,000 to stage the
Fete for Scouts and Girl Guides, and if the weather were to fail
us, almost 10% of the costs of running our vital training programmes
for Scouts and Girl Guides throughout the year could be lost. It
is to cover this considerable risk that we seek financial sponsorship.
If the weather is fine and we can attract our
usual audience of some 7,000 people, then this sponsorship money
goes direct to the individual Groups.
However, it is costly to stage an event with high quality professional
displays and we are seeking your support to help offset this cost.
In return, we can offer:
For a minimum donation
of £5.00 we will make you a Fete Patron. We will acknowledge
your donation in the Fete Programme, Local newspapers, also
provide you with free entry to the Fete, and record your
support on our Website.
For donations in excess of £50 we will provide you
with a seat at the arena podium and invite you to join us
for light refreshments in the VIP tent.

We can offer publicity for your
company through, for example, editorial copy in local papers,
programme advertising, arena boundary displays, logo on
our website and by on-site static displays, where appropriate.
