BARRY SCOUT & GUIDE 2006 ANNUAL FETE


The 2006 Scouts' and Guides' Annual Fete is booked for
Saturday 1st July 2006
at Romilly Park.
The theme for Fete is '70 Years of Television'.
The main act for the 2006 Fete is to be the Gerard Naprous Medival Jousting

Gerard Naprous Medival Jousting

Performing with some of the best known horses in the world, all owned and trained to perfection by top horsemaster and stunt arranger Gerard Naprous.
Known and admired for their performances in such as:

    • Brave Heart

plus live performances at top venues all over Europe and as far as Malaysia.

The weather was glorious for the 2006 annual fete of Barry Scouts and Guides, held in Romilly Park, Barry, Saturday 1st July.

Officially opened by Gill Bird, county president for Girl Guiding, Cardiff and East Glamorgan, various displays by beavers, brownies and rainbows, cubs, scouts and guides took place as well as medieval jousting presented by Gerard Naprous and the Devil's Horseman.

Present at the fete was Jane Hutt AM, who said: "This was yet again a very successful event, most certainly helped by the fantastic weather.
"My congratulations go out to the organisers of this prestigious event, enjoyed by all who attend. I look forward to next year's event."
